Naturally Sharp
Hoil Song

My name is Hoil Song, it’s pronounced Hoyle like the deck of cards, or rhymes with Boil, Soil, Foil, Coil, etc. I’m Korean but I was born in Scottsdale, Arizona, but don’t remember anything about the place. Lived outside of Cleveland, Ohio for a while. Moved to South Korea, lived in Seoul, the capital, and moved to the Busan, where the beach is. Then finally I came to Virginia as an exchange student and became a Virginia Tech Hokie!

I am currently majoring in Biology, but don’t know how long that is going to last. I’m actually thinking about maybe changing majors to architecture but for now I would like to become a dentist, help people, go on mission trips traveling the world, and make a lot of money.

Some of the things I like to do are sleeping, eating, playing, singing, and sleeping. I sang in a Choir in High School, also in a choral ensemble. I first started to sing my 10th grade year of high school. Now I just love singing. I very glad I got into the Naturally Sharp a capella group, now I can sing through college.

I love music, so I learned to play the piano, the violin, alto saxophone, the drumset, and I tried to teach myself how to play the guitar then it just never happened. I like to listen to all kind of music. I actually just like listening to music period. Especially, Classic rock, Oldies, Jazz, and Worship. If you see me around campus, I probably have my ipod plugged up in my ears listening to the temptations walking to class. If you want to know more about me just hit me up on facebook, you’ll probably find me real easy, since there aren’t many Hoil Song’s around this world. Well, study hard, play harder.

Sincerely,

Hoil Song
