Naturally Sharp is Virginia Tech's finest all-male a cappella group. Since 2002, the Natty boys have been rocking the stage, serenading the ladies, and raising the bar for on-stage entertainment.

Want to sing with Natty?
Naturally Sharp is a group of normal guys who like to get together 3 times a week to create A Cappella renditions of today’s greatest pop hits, as well as a few older tunes. Come out and show us what you’ve got, and we’ll give you the chance to be one of VT’s own Natty Boys.
All you need to do to prepare is have 16 bars or so of a song (1 verse or chorus) ready to sing for us.
When are auditions?
Auditions are September 2nd from 8:30 - 10:30pm in the Squires Jamestown Room, and September 5th from 5:00 to 7:00pm in the Squires Cardinal Room.
Do I need any musical training or experience?
Not at all! Some of our best members had never even set foot in a choir room before joining the group, so don’t let your lack of experience hold you back!
Do you guys do anything besides just practice?
We do a lot! One day we may be serenading the some of the ladies of VT’s sororities, and the next we’ll be singing at a fundraiser for the elderly! We even leave campus on occasion to put on shows with other groups from places like Roanoke, Villanova, and Wake Forest. If that’s not enough for you, all of it builds up to our end of semester concert.

Fall Concert
Hey Natty fans! It’s the end of the semester, and like every past semester, have we got a show for you! Naturally Sharp will be hosting its fall concert December 4, at 7:00PM in the GLC Auditorium. This semester we’re bringin to the stage some great new hits that are sure to impress. Grab a friend, buy yourselves some tickets, and let us sweeten your Friday night. Don’t forget the afterparty either!
Naturally Sharp Fall ‘09 Auditions!
It’s that time again! Naturally Sharp will be hosting auditions this week for new members. Meet us tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept. 8 ) at Squires Yorktown Room at 8:00PM for an audition. Be prepared to show off your voice by singing us a short ~30sec piece of a song. Can’t make it tomorrow? Swing by Squires 300 at 7:00PM on Thursday (Sept. 10 ) for our second day of auditions.

Hokie Idol Finalists!
A big congratulations go out to Matt Milner and Daniel Gonzales for making it to the final 3 of Hokie Idol, sponsored by Beta Theta Pi!
The guys worked their way through 3 rounds over the course of a month, leading up to last nights final round of 12, which was then narrowed down to the final 3. Unfortunately neither came away with the top prize but both put on a great show and certainly entertained the crowd!
Amazing job, guys!
Welcome New Members!
A belated welcome to our 3 new members: Joe Artz, Donnie Brooks and Peter Hurley!
These talented singers made it through auditions and will certainly be a wonderful addition to the Naturally Sharp line up for years to come.

Spring Auditions ‘09 Announcement
Naturally Sharp will hold auditions for potential new members next week on Tuesday, Feb 3rd and Thursday, Feb 5th.
Auditions will be held in Squires-Yorktown at 8pm both days.
Please bring one prepared song of your choice (one verse, one chorus) to show off your voice part. If you have any questions, please contact Jake Lambert.

Bring On the New Semester
Well it’s that time again. Freezing weather, boring classes, and NO FOOTBALL. We hate it. You hate it. We know you hate it. That’s why we’re back again and ready to warm those hearts with some more classic Naturally Sharp. We’ll be performing all around campus, in dorms, dining halls, you name it.
